Refocusing and Reconnecting: What’s Next for Must Love Dogs PDX
We’ve missed you — and it feels good to be back! After taking a brief hiatus, we’re excited to share that Must Love Dogs PDX is returning refreshed, refocused, and ready to reconnect with our community. Over the last few months, we’ve taken time to regroup and reflect on what we’ve learned in our first year of business. The heart of Must Love Dogs PDX has always been about bringing Portland-area pet lovers together, and that mission remains the same — it’s just getting a little more focused.
We’ve relocated to a new service area in Oregon City, where future events will be held. With this move, we’re shifting our focus toward the pieces of our work that have always felt most meaningful: building community, sharing resources, and creating opportunities for connection.
As we grow, we’re also listening closely to what our community needs. That means expanding offerings based on local interest and feedback — whether it’s new event ideas, additional support services, or collaborations with other pet professionals.
For now, here’s what you can continue to expect from Must Love Dogs PDX:
Park Plays will return — bringing dog owners and enthusiasts together for relaxed weekend meetups.
We’ll continue to share resources and highlight local dog (and cat!) businesses and nonprofits that make our community special.
We’ll keep offering training resources and rehoming/adoption support, connecting people and pets who need each other most.
And we’re not stopping there — in the coming months, we’re planning to launch a few exciting new community events:
Single Dog Owner Mixers, perfect for meeting fellow dog lovers in a fun, low-pressure setting.
POP! (Pack of Professionals) gatherings, bringing together Portland-area pet pros to collaborate, share resources, and better serve our furry friends.
