Roxy is a 4.5-year-old shepherd/golden-mix sweetheart who has only ever known love — and she’s ready to find a home that can give her the time, space, and attention she needs. Her current owner has made the difficult, deeply thoughtful decision to rehome her due to limited time and a lifestyle that no longer allows Roxy to thrive the way she truly can. This decision comes purely from love and a desire to give Roxy her best life.
About Roxy
Roxy is a beautiful, medium-to-high energy girl who loves to run, play, explore, and then curl up for a cozy nap. She’s gentle, affectionate, and easy to adore — the kind of dog who slips seamlessly into your heart.
She’s incredibly healthy, up to date on vaccines, and has never had an accident in the house. Even during her years on acreage and now in a smaller city yard, her personality hasn’t changed — she remains calm, well-behaved, and adaptable. But her happiest moments? Those are when she’s running free at the park, tail up, ears back, soaking in the joy of open space.
Temperament
Roxy has a wonderfully kind nature. She gets along well with other dogs — in fact, she tends to be the one who gets bossed around rather than doing the bossing! She’s also very comfortable around children, including infants, and has been consistently gentle and patient.
She hasn’t lived with cats, so her compatibility is unknown, but she previously coexisted peacefully with chickens in her rural home.

Roxy is looking for a home that sees her for the gem she is — and can offer the environment she thrives in. Her ideal match includes:
Active humans who can give her regular exercise and outdoor time

Rehoming Details
There will be a rehoming fee, with the final amount to be confirmed and discussed with interested adopters. The current owner will continue caring for Roxy until the right home is found — there is no deadline, just the desire to find her perfect match.
